1. Warranty Coverage and Definition
CINEST.com is committed to providing furniture products that combine quality, functionality, and thoughtful design (including media cabinets from CINEST and our partner brand POVISON).
CINEST.com warrants that the products sold shall be free from defects in material, workmanship, and function under "Normal Use" for the warranty period outlined below, starting from the original date of receipt:
-
2-Year Limited Warranty: Covers the main product frame, materials, workmanship, and non-lighting electronic components.
-
1-Year Limited Warranty: Covers LED lighting components.
"Normal Use" means reasonable use for its intended purpose in a normal residential environment, strictly in accordance with the installation, operation, maintenance, and care manual.
2. Warranty Eligibility and Transferability
This limited warranty extends to the original retail purchaser only, and is not transferable whether to heirs, subsequent owners, or otherwise. It applies only to products purchased through CINEST.com or officially authorized channels. No affirmation of CINEST.com, by words or action, other than as set forth herein shall constitute a warranty.
3. Exclusions from Warranty
This limited warranty DOES NOT cover any loss and/or damage due to:
-
Normal Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear from daily use. For example, gloss reduction, minor scratches, staining, and the natural aging of coatings or finishes over time are not manufacturing defects but are indicative of normal wear and tear.
-
Appearance Changes: Fading, discoloration, oxidation, or corrosion caused by frequency of use, cleaning methods, water quality, air conditions, or light exposure; and reasonable variations in color, grain, and texture inherent in wood, sintered stone, and metal.
-
Misuse or Abnormal Use: Damage caused by misuse, abnormal use, neglect, accidents, improper handling, liquid spills, burns, cuts, impacts, or scratching/chewing by pets; and damage caused by standing, jumping, climbing on, dragging furniture, or using the product beyond its designed weight capacity.
-
Improper Installation, Maintenance, and Care: Damage caused by installation not performed according to specifications. Damage caused by improper maintenance, such as using abrasive or corrosive cleaners (e.g., powders, bleach, ammonia, alcohol, or chlorine-containing cleaners), or tools like steel wool or wire brushes, as these will damage and wear down the finish.
-
Acts of God and Environmental Factors: Events outside human control, like flash floods, earthquakes, fires, storms, or other natural disasters. Warping, cracking, fading, mold, corrosion, or surface damage caused by extreme temperatures, humidity, prolonged direct sunlight, moisture, harsh outdoor environments, or significant product exposure to chemicals.
-
Unauthorized Modification or Repair: Modification (including but not limited to use of unauthorized parts or attachments), adjustment, or repair. This warranty only applies when all components have been provided by CINEST.com. Substituting another manufacturer's product and/or components will render the warranty completely void.

5. Warranty Remedies and Liability Limitations
If any of the warranted products are found by CINEST.com to be defective in normal use, CINEST.com will, at its sole discretion and cost, determine a reasonable remedy, which may include:
-
Providing remote guidance or a reasonable repair solution;
-
Replacing defective hardware or components;
-
Providing a replacement product that is reasonably comparable in function, value, and style;
-
Making an appropriate refund or amount adjustment.
Note: Any replacement product or component will remain covered for the remainder of the warranty period applicable to the original product. Replacement does not restart a full warranty period, except as otherwise required by applicable law.
Liability Limitations: The parties hereto expressly agree that Original Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy against CINEST.com shall be the repair, replacement, or refund of defective products as provided herein. This warranty does not cover labor or other costs or expenses to remove or install any defective, repaired, or replaced product. In no event shall the liability of CINEST.com exceed the purchase price of the product.
6. Disclaimer of Other Warranties and Damages
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR INFRINGEMENT.
BUYER SHALL IN NO EVENT BE ENTITLED TO, AND CINEST.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFIT, PROMOTIONAL AND/OR MANUFACTURING EXPENSES, OVERHEAD, INJURY TO REPUTATION AND/OR LOSS OF CUSTOMERS.
7. Out-of-Warranty Support
After the warranty period expires, consumers may still contact CINEST Customer Service with product-related questions. Depending on the condition of the product, compatibility of parts, and actual inventory availability, CINEST may, at its discretion, offer paid replacement parts or other support. Any support provided outside the warranty period is not covered by this limited warranty and does not extend the warranty period or create a new warranty.
